amanda-server software package provides Advanced Maryland Automatic Network Disk Archiver (Server), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install amanda-server
amanda-server is installed in your system.
Make ensure the amanda-server package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep amanda-server *
You will get with amanda-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
